Cuba’s largest open-air peace concert since 1959
Cuba’s largest open-air peace concert since 1959 attracted an estimated one million people. The free event in Revolution square, Havana, was organised by Colombian singer Juanes. The five and a half hour ‘Peace without Border’ concert was widely enjoyed by most, but some critics of the Castro regime were unimpressed. In Miami, one group of Cuban-Americans steam-rollered Juanes’ CD in protest. Full report and video on the BBC website.
